Creating Side-by-Side Experiences

Whenever you have families present, you have a wonderful opportunity to create a ‘side-by-side’ experience. A side-by-side experience happens when you help whole families use a key tool there and then in the service, and teach them how to do that at home.. A side-by-side experience works both for your church families and families who might be there for the very first time and can be a powerful way for them to engage with God.

There’s a full explanation of how to create a side-by-side encounter in this post from the Parenting for Faith website. This post also includes a free download of five side-by-side activities you could use in Christmas services and events, and another set for Easter.
